How to setup Changedetection
with Bright Data proxies:

Subscribe to changedetection.io:

You will receive your credentials via email.

Click on "Settings" in the top menu.

Once you are logged in, click on “Settings” in the top menu

Select "Captcha & Proxies."

Click on the ‘CAPTCHA & Proxies’ tab

Enter the proxy name.

This name will be used for proxy selection in the “Edit>Watch” settings.
Input the proxy URL in the following format: http://username:password@host:port.

Bright Data credentials:

To obtain your proxy credentials, go to Bright Data “Proxies & Scraping Infra” and click on the proxy zone name.

Access parameter:

Find the Username, Password, Host, and Port under the access parameter option.

Enter proxy URL in Changedetection.io:

Create your proxy URL in the recommended format, such as http://brd-customer-zone11:@brd.superproxy.io:33335. Paste it under Proxy URL and Save.

Monitor with proxies:

When setting up a web page to monitor with proxies, click on “Edit>Watch.”

Select Bright Data proxies:

In the request tab, select the previously configured Bright Data proxy. Save the changes.

Click preview:

By clicking “Preview,” the web page will be monitored using the Bright Data proxies.

Event log:

To confirm the use of your Bright Data proxy, refer to the Event Log section in your Proxies & Scraping Infrastructure dashboard.
